The house is in a quiet and safe street but only a few minutes walk from Nakano-Shimbashi station which is just 2 stations away from all the fun and funky shops and restaurants in Shinjuku. From Shinjuku you can easily get to anywhere around Tokyo.

The streets are fairly typical of suburban Tokyo and some urban hiking reveals interesting architecture as well as many green spaces.

On days when you want to stick close to home, the neighbourhood bustles with restaurants, cafes, bars, shops and other amenities. There is a grocery store nearby perfect for stocking breakfast and for snacks, we suggest any of the nearby convenience stores which are open 24 hours.

We've drawn up a neighborhood map to help you find what you need. We love living in this area and our own home  is only a few minutes away. We will personally meet and greet you and show you through the house and how to use everything.

Nakano-Shimbashi station on the Marunouchi line is only a few minutes walk.

It would be hard to get a better location for sightseeing. Enjoy a 10 minute train ride to the quiet gardens of Shinjuku Gyoen or the exciting shops around Shinjuku 3-chome. This line is also direct through to Tokyo and Ginza area and all the bright lights and shopping that these areas have on offer.

The short answer is sadly no.
Many of the larger train stations have lockers big enough for a full size suitcase. Shinjuku Station has plenty of large coin lockers.

Alternatively, we recommend you use a baggage shipping service. Japan has a few companies to choose from - just do a web search for "Takkyubin Japan" or "Ta-Q-Bin" to find the most commonly used companies. Convenient Stay in Tokyo

We enjoyed staying in Yoyo house. The location is convenient near Shinjuku and its easy to travel there on the subway. The house itself is super clean and has a good kitchen and bathroom. The beds are comfortable and our teenager enjoyed watching Netflix on the Apple TV. The owners are responsive and even came back the following day to drop off an extra key. In the area there are plenty of restaurants and shopping facilities. The only issue might be that the bathroom is on the ground floor whilst the bedrooms are up the stairs on level 2 and 3, so may not be suitable for elderly people. For a family with children, or a group of adults its fabulous. We will stay again on our next visit.

Fantastic stay in Yoyo House

My family had a wonderful stay at Yoyo house. The hosts are organized and are really helpful. The location is really convenient. We were very happy to have an entire 3 story house in Shinjuku!! The house was super clean and it had everything we needed. There was also a convenience store and a really nice (2 story) grocery right around the corner. Lots of restaurants nearby too. Overall it was just a fantastic stay. I recommend it to all.

Lovely house and thoughtful hosts

Yoyo house was clean, large, and a great haven for our family whilst in Tokyo for 5 nights. We just wish we could have stayed longer! Great amenities. Easy to get to. Late check in was no problem...very accomodating! We were met at the train station by the host who had umbrellas as it was raining. Such nice Hosts!!

Second time we have stayed at the Yyo House

Location, location, location. Yoyo House is nicely situated with Shinjuku as a hub just a few stops down the line but far enough away to get a quiet neighborhood atmosphere. Well-supplied with amenities, comfortable beds, Apple TV, kitchenware, and Wi-Fi, even a rainy day indoors is a pleasure. The conbini is at the end of the block for snacks and sundries, and a supermarket just a bit farther for fresh foods. And there are plenty of options for eating out, too.

Perfect family house in Shinjuku

This place was perfect for our family. We wanted to be close to Shinjuku but still stay in a quiet neighborhood and this house didn't disappoint. It only took 15min to get to the shopping areas of Shinjuku since the house is close to the station and there is a direct train. At the end of the day, it was relaxing to walk home on quiet streets after a day in the hustle and bustle. The house WiFi was fast and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The house itself was really comfortable to stay in as the hosts thought of everything that we would need during our family holiday. I will definitely stay again and highly recommend this place for families.

Excellent home.

Excellent home with a good location. The place was clean and the host provided all toiletries and towels and kitchen was well equipped. There was enough space for 3 adults and 3 kids. The location was residential and close by were good restaurants and supermarket. The train was 5 - 10 minute walk. You have to remember to switch the train which, if you are in Tokyo for more than two days comes naturally :) The host was available and always in communication to ensure that we checked in safely. We had someone waiting to meet us and helped answer all our questions. Would highly recommend for a family visiting Tokyo!
