Great house and host.

Ww stayed at the Saurai House in Jan 25. It is located in a quiet street close to the train station and shops. The houseis great for families as it has everything you need and is well presented. The host Tracey and Ash were great. Great communication and were extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure we were looked after. We would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay

There were 8 of us in our party, ranging from 3 to 74 years old: the whole family. Samurai House was in a great location, with quiet streets, plenty of restaurant and eating options, and close to the subway station. The house was generously proportioned and well equipped with almost everything we needed. We stayed a week and were sorry to leave, it had become our Japanese home away from home.

Perfect Host and Perfect Home

Ash was so accommodating! He met us at the train station and gave us a thorough introduction to visiting Japan. When our travel plans were thwarted by a typhoon, he no only extended our stay at Samurai House but found us alternate housing for an additional nights. Samurai was a great experience and wonderful location for getting around. I had my doubts about 1 bath for 5 people but it seemed to work out fine. I would recommend any of the properties owned by these folks; they are attentive to details of the traveler offer loads of information about the area.

Great for family stays!

My three kids and I had a very comfortable stay! The floor plan of this home allowed us to spread out and have our own space. Easy to get around with the nearest train station and great places to eat within walking distance 5 or so minutes away.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!

Love love love! Location was great. Most comfortable air bnb I have ever stayed at. Beds and blankets we so cozy! The bathtub was so nice! Lots of information available for things to do. Tracey was great helped us when taxi took us to incorrect location. If considering this for your stay , if available, would highly recommend! ❤️👍😀

Very roomy house

The house was very roomy, a couple of small things to know if the stairs were very steep, and the shower is separate from the tub, which is a traditional thing, but was a little difficult for us to navigate. It was a very nice place, overall and very roomy, her family just be aware the stairs are kind of steep, the hosts were great. We had a problem and they fixed it immediately. Really enjoyed our stay in that area. It was quiet and peaceful. Very nice area for a family and very close to metro stations.

Wonderful for our group to explore Tokyo from!

This place was wonderful for our group to explore Tokyo from. It is conveniently down the road from a subway station three stops from a major transit hub, Shinjuku station. The house was clean and spacious, and Ash was a wonderful host who greeted us and made sure we had an understanding of the local area. A highlight of the house was the beautiful shoji doors.

Excellent amenities

Great place to stay and only a few train stops from Shinjuku. Excellent amenities especially for those who want to cook. The local neighborhood has some gorgeous family restaurants and cafes and you are spoilt for convenience stores too. Tracey was super responsive throughout the entire booking process and our stay. A very comfortable family home with lovely furnishings that made it so cosy and nice to come home to after a busy day exploring.

Tokyo Vacation

We had such a wonderful stay at the Samurai house. Comfortable with all the amenities, quite close to the subway station, 7-Eleven, Family-Mart and restaurants, yet in a quiet residential neighborhood. Hosts Ashley and Tracey were very helpful and responsive with all communications. We will definitely book again and recommend Tokyo Family Stays to our friends for a home away from home experience in Japan.
